English, English English...

Hello everyone, today is my final blog and I will talk about my experience writing blogs in these weeks. For me, always has been difficult show my life and que things and I like, but I think it was a good experience. I have to say this is my second experience doing blogs, because in English III I do the same, but with different topics. This time I think was more difficult because the topics in sometimes generate me some problems to write about, for example when we talk about our career, jobs, future, postgraduate, changes in the study program, etc. I have been writing 10 blogs, and this is the 11.   My favorites blogs in this class could be “a country I would visit” because in there I talk about my dream of travel to Italy, and “my favorite food” mainly because it talks about food. Talking about my English skills, I think I must improve my vocabulary, because sometimes I am talking about something and I beginning to run out of words, and in Spanish I have a big vocabulary...

Some changes to the study program?

Image
Hello today I will talk about some changes to my study program. In first place I have to say in Chile the length of the university studies is about 5 years, and in my opinion this is a waste of life time, in comparison European countries or the United States’ s duration of the career is about 3 years. Secondly, my career, Public Administration, we have few practice subjects, the most important is the second semester of the fifth year, and in my opinion this will be more because we need to know the labor environment and the dynamics of work before egress. In addition, I think we need more subjects that improve our critical thinking, because a public manager must take decisions. Personally I love philosophy and it would be great take some philosophical subjects in this career. About the infrastructure all the people of the career have too much to say and I will take 2 propositions, the first is the became of our promised land “Vicuña Mackenna Nº20”, the second is the need o...

Vacation plans

Hello everyone, today I will talk about my summer plans In first place I have to say I am in classes yet, despite I am in medium December.   And if I look my calendar, I only could start my holydays in January. Having said this, I will be optimistic. During my vacations I will be with my family. All year I am away of they and the opportunity to be with there is in summer vacations. However, there is a possibility I search for a job to improve my poor economic situation. Last years I work in food industries like Agrofoods and Agrosuper, but now I was thinking in a job in the city, closer to my home. Thinking about travels, I don´t have a plan for this and I am not interested (so much). But something I want to do during my free time on vacations is assemble a bicycle. During the year, when I am in San Vicente, I road among 25 kilometers per day and I have a Mountain Bike, for that reason I need a “road bike” to be faster. Furthermore, the most important thing I want, and I ...

Favorite Book?????

Hello everyone, today I will talk about a very difficult topic for me, Books. In first place why is this topic difficult for me? The answer to this question is easy, I DON´T LIKE READ BOOKS, or When I am interested in a book or when I bought a book I NEVER READ IT. It’s very rare, because I have been a student with great marks in all my life but in school, I learn to hate books. I have a theory of this, when we are children at school the educational system forces us to read many books per year. I never have been agreeing with this since I was a child, and a form to answer to this enforcement was the disappear of my reading desires. Despite of all of this I read some books for myself. I am interested in History, Politic and Philosophy, and if I buy a book it will be of one of these topics. If I remember rightly the last book I read was “Demanding the impossible” of Slavoj Žižek, if you like the topics I like, you can read this book. One book I read, and I found very interesting was ...
